"Many pet dogs are experiencing anxiety and frustration as they struggle to adapt to human home environments--despite being pampered, poofed, and petted, or perhaps in part because of this. We can do better for them. Who's a Good Dog challenges us to think more carefully about the limits we place on their inherited, deep-rooted behaviors. Bioethicist Jessica Pierce explores common practices of caring for, socializing, and training pet dogs.
