Summary, etc M/Sgt. Woodrow Wilson Keeble (aka "Chief"), a North Dakotan fighting in the Korean War, almost single-handedly saved his fellow soldiers of the U.S. Army's 19th Infantry Regiment during an offensive that led to the end of the war. "Woody" -- twice recommended for the Medal of Honor -- was posthumously awarded the Army's highest military honor, by President George W. Bush on March 3, 2008 -- 57 years later. This is Woody's story, as told through interviews with survivors and military records of the action. Keeble is the first full-blood Sioux to receive the Medal of Honor.
