Enhanced descriptions from Syndetics:

"Marshal Redleaf" is Chet Redleaf, one-third Indian, and he must find out who stole a shipment of $4,000 from the local stage while the driver and guard were busy working on a wheel. The robbers left not boot tracks, but moccasin tracks. The problem is the Indians have been moved to the reservation, except for a few holdouts who try to keep their presence hidden and have no particular use for money. Redleaf comes to think that it might have been an inside job."Prairie Town" opens with a stranger's murder. Frank Leslie, owner of the Snowshoe Ranch, finds the body on his range and reports it to Marshal Hank Herman. Herman brings the body back to town. Finding no clues, he decides it's a routine killing and plans to bury the body the next day. But the next morning, the body is gone. He couldn't call that mysterious slaying a routine affair now even if he wanted to and he didn't want to. The laziest, most indecisive lawman on earth couldn't help but be intrigued by the theft of a dead body.
