Enhanced descriptions from Syndetics:

Ever-reliable Kansas City rapper Tech N9ne brings his tried-and-true combination of hardcore, tongue-twisting rhymes and aggressive genre-bending production to his 22nd effort, Enterfear. Slowly teased through a pair of EPs released in late 2019 and early 2020, the album presents all the trademarks of a typical Tech N9ne album. From the rock-influenced opener "Just Die?" to the downcast emoting of "Feel So Sad!" and "For Ya Love," Tech injects just enough variety into the mix to keep momentum moving and allow for listeners to catch their collective breaths. Like previous efforts, Enterfear is packed with heavy-hitting blows to the head where Tech showcases his dexterity and wordplay, spitting about common themes such as his accomplishments as an independent artist ("Look What I Did"), and his eternal underdog status (like on "Outdone," where he raps, "The industry shunned me.../Acting like you don't see me in the conversation/of the greatest, I never got a nomination/cause you hated, you callin' me abomination"). His scrappy attitude and self-made image remain a large part of his draw as the one you want to root for, even if nearly two-dozen albums and a successful indie empire prove that he's doing just fine. Still, the myth remains and continues to sell, feeding his audience with yet another classic Tech N9ne affair. While Enterfear doesn't add any new tricks to his repertoire, it'll no doubt sate his devoted following with more of the same reliable material, attitude, and energy for which the emcee is known. ~ Neil Z.
