Enhanced descriptions from Syndetics:
Released on the eve of Aerosmith's farewell tour in 2023, Greatest Hits is available in a variety of incarnations, with single-disc and triple-disc iterations being the most noteworthy. The single-CD version features 18 of the band's staples, starting with "Mama Kin" and ending with "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" -- a trawl through the hits that misses the interesting detours that are pushed to the forefront on the 44-track deluxe edition. That expanded version, available either as a triple-CD or quadruple-LP set, has the space for early masterworks like "Lord of the Thighs" and "Seasons of Wither," plus the Run-DMC version of "Walk This Way" and such excellent latter-day pop hits as "Jaded," which means it's a fuller picture of the band even if it lacks some prime '70s sleaze. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
