Enhanced descriptions from Syndetics:
Larks are numerous singing birds. Exaltation is an act of exalting; the state of being exalted; an excessively intensified sense of well-being, power, importance; an increase in degree or intensity. The first time someone told her that a flock of larks is called exaltation, she immediately thought, what a sound an exaltation of larks must make! It prompted her imagination to run wild in a composerly fashion, of thousands of birds flying and singing wildly with extraordinary energy and intensity.
Piano part of Scenes from the poet's dreams for left hand with limited use of the right hand.
