Enhanced descriptions from Syndetics:
A soothing book about loved ones and the quiet power of meditation in nature. For children ages 5 years and up.
Masato's garden is unlike any other garden Johnny has ever seen. There are no pretty flowers and no vegetables either. It's a garden of big rocks, tiny pebbles, and a spout of trickling water. Masato invites Johnny to sit there with him and take a moment to think about his sick grandfather.
Ages 5 years and up.
When Johnny shares his worries about his sick grandpa, his friend Masato invites him over to his house. There, Masato shows Johnny his extraordinary garden. It's filled with tiny pebbles, large rocks, small trees, and tall grass. Although Masato's garden is completely different from Johnny's grandpa's garden, the rocks and trees remind Johnny of him. Soon, he feels a little less worried.
