Before her ascension to the world of humans, during a trip to the surface with her pal Flounder, Ariel spots the royal castle ablaze in colored lights. Scuttle the Gull informs her of the "Hollydays," prompting Ariel to create her own celebration for her friends and family under the waves, with decorations and a gift exchange. The recording also includes several festive songs to add to the cheer: a merry rendition of "Deck the Halls," sung by Sebastian, as well as two original songs: "Ariel's Christmas Island" and "Christmas Under the Sea."
