Ruby loves her very grubby, mucky dog named Grub, even though he is a bit of a trouble maker--he digs in the garden, rolls in the mud, runs away, and leaves muddy paw prints everywhere. Eventually Mom has had enough and sends Grub to live with Uncle Tom and his three dogs. But everyone misses him, and soon Grub returns home to make even more messes!
Ruby loves her messy dog named Grub, who is a bit of a trouble maker, but she is dismayed when her mother has had enough of his antics and sends the dog to live with relatives.
