Enhanced descriptions from Syndetics:

Sheku Kanneh-Mason performs Elgar's Cello Concerto with Sir Simon Rattle and the London Symphony Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios. The concerto is complemented by a collection of pieces from Elgar's time, all chosen by Kanneh-Mason as a reflection on the different moods and influences in Elgar's seminal concerto. Selections include new arrangements for various string settings, from Kanneh-Mason's own arrangement for solo cello (Blow the Wind Southerly) to a six-cello arrangement of Nimrod.
